We cant complain, we had an unbelievable summer. Masons Daughter was a star and hit three in a row and put herself up there as possibly the top novice mare of the season. Three on the trot, her bumper around Tipperary, a maiden hurdle around Ballinrobe with an exceptional and quick display of jumping and then what would be her last start, winning the mares novice hurdle in Kilbeggan on the 24th of August. Unfortunately, that was her last run as she suffered an injury a few weeks later putting her very promising career to a standstill and heading off in a different direction as a broodmare. We are gutted to lose her and we hope shell be very happy in her new career breeding some top offspring. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the O Connor family and John Hallahan. Presenting Leah also took early retirement when suffering an injury in Roscommon in early October. A mare that had not yet made her mark on the track and reaching her potential. Again we would like to thank her owner Jimmy Dunne for dealing with us and we wish him and Leah the best of luck. If that wasn’t enough, they say it happens in threes,  we also lost Miss Sapphire due to injury. A winner of five for us and only once out of the prize money out of 11 starts, its safe to say well miss her reliable face at the race! Again wed like to thank Mags and Danny Mullins who were a pleasure to deal with. On a positive note Miss Chevious Girl made her debut in Galway for us finishing third in a nice bumper and were sure to have a bit of fun with her. Court Artist made a remarkable return to the track at Galway finishing a nice fifth in a Grade B Handicap Hurdle and was retired to stud in Killarney at the August meeting. Ken Parkhill was delighted to get her back to Castletown Quarry Stud where she will produce some nice off spring. Ken as always was a pleasure to deal with and we continue a good relationship with him, having, Miss Chevious Girl and Fasola Tido under our colours.   We are always on the lookout for new fillies and now we have big hooves to fill.
