This year Zola joined our team after finishing a promising fourth in a Ballinrobe bumper in May. She has gone from strength to strength for us under the guidance of Willie Mullins and is proving to be a very capable hurdler. Shes a daughter of Court Cave, who’s daughters have been lucky enough for us in the past with Court Artist winning three for us in the 2017/2018 season. Zola named after Zola Budd the middle distance runner, is proving much like her name sake, now a winner of two three mile hurdles at Listowel and Cork. As the saying goes, she didn’t lick it off a stone, her mother is a half sister to the very talented and previous Hennessy, John Durkan and Lexus Chase winner, The Listener back in the day. Now a winner of three on the bounce, Zola is worth keeping an eye on over the winter, we’re very excited to see where she will go next.
